We searched everywhere, big box stores, little box stores, no box stores, online stores, etc. looking for just the right seating to replace our badly worn Lazy Boy love seat with manual recline. This is the only one that met our minimum requirements for options. Arm storage and center storage is great.! If this unit had a drawer beneath the center console it would be perfect.! Straight out of the box it felt just a little bit too firm for my liking. Felt like I was sitting "on it" not "in it"..! After 5 months of use I can say that it is conditioning itself to my derriere and is becoming more comfortable every day. The power recline takes some getting used to after having a single "lever flip" to dismount in our old one.! First couple months when a grandkid hollered or the phone rang I resembled a seal wallowing on ice trying to dismount before realizing a button had to be held down and patiently wait for full retraction of all moving parts before departure can be accomplished.! Cup holders are steel, unbreakable, easily removed for cleaning. They very closely resemble a cow bell when placing a drink can in them, so be careful if the wife is napping
