REVIEW: I purchased two rows of 3 seats on bases for my back row and they are perfect. They are solid and balanced chairs with oversized cup holders, and feel identical to the local theater. I used commercial grade (ie cheap) gray carpet, the glue down kind, and ran strips of the loop side of Velcro along the bottom of the bases, which adhered them to the floor without having to drill holes in my riser. I would not recommend skipping the base since it's so easy to attach to those rather than having to drill holes into flooring. They are perfectly positioned and spaced on the base.

We used 4 leather Sierra for the front row for our 10 seat theater.
