A sofa with an adjustable headrest lets you change where your head sits instead of living with a fixed back. This collection has 11 power reclining sofas and loveseats from Seatcraft, and each one has an adjustable power headrest, a motorized headrest you tilt with a button. Eight also add power lumbar, and five add heat and massage.
Power Reclining Sofa With Power Headrest for Your Media Room
The lineup is the Seatcraft Omega, Anthem, Vienna, Euphoria, Concerto, Republic, Colosseum and Octavius, plus the Luminis 365 HeatZeroᵀᴹ, its Big & Tall version and the Virtuoso 365 HeatZeroᵀᴹ. Each is offered as a loveseat, a sofa or a sofa and loveseat set. The Colosseum, Concerto and Euphoria descriptions use the ComfortView name for their power headrest, and the Colosseum and Concerto use it for power lumbar too.
If you want a leather power sofa with power headrest, the Anthem, Vienna, Euphoria, Concerto, Colosseum, Republic and Octavius list Italian Leather in their specifications. The Luminis 365 lists Leather, and the Omega lists Leather Gel.
Sofa With Adjustable Headrest: How a Power Headrest Works
A power headrest is designed to tilt forward or back at the touch of a button, so you can set your head angle to the screen once you recline. A fixed headrest stays where it is, and the power version lets you change it whenever you change position.
It is a comfort feature you control, not a treatment. The Omega description describes the headrest as letting you find an upper body position that suits you.
Real Comfort Features You Can Use Every Day
Beyond the headrest, the specifications list a chaise style padded footrest and padded arms with in-arm storage on the Omega, Anthem, Vienna, Euphoria, Concerto, Republic, Colosseum, Octavius and Luminis 365. Charging varies: the Omega, Anthem, Vienna, Republic, Colosseum and Octavius list one USB port per seat at the power recline switch, while the Luminis 365 lists USB-A and USB-C ports in each armrest.
Seven of the 11 mention a wireless charging pad in their product data, and you can see them in our wireless charging pad multimedia sofas. Power models plug into a standard 110v wall outlet, and a licensed electrician can add an outlet near the sofa if you need one.
Ergonomic Couches and Loveseats With Headrest and Lumbar
Here, an ergonomic couch means an adjustable one: you set the headrest and, on eight of these models, the lower back support with buttons. Adjustable power lumbar is a motorized pad in the lower back of the seat that you move in or out. The Vienna, Euphoria, Concerto, Colosseum, Octavius, Luminis 365, Big & Tall and Virtuoso 365 have both. The Omega, Anthem and Republic have the headrest only.
A power recliner loveseat with an adjustable headrest and lumbar is available on each of the eight with both. To compare them as a group, see our powered lumbar multimedia sofas.
Find the Right Setup for Your Media Room
Sofa widths run from 80" on the Luminis 365 and Virtuoso 365 to 93" on the Octavius. The Omega and Republic are 83", the Anthem, Vienna, Euphoria and Concerto are 85", and the Colosseum is 91.5". Wall clearance, the distance a sofa needs from the wall to recline fully, runs from 2" on the Luminis 365 to 6.5". Seatcraft theater seating models run about 3" to 6.5"; check the model's Specifications tab.
The optional Guardian 5-Year Protection Plan lifts Seatcraft seating from a 1-year limited warranty to 5 years and adds accidental stain and damage coverage. The Colosseum, Octavius and Luminis 365 Big & Tall are also in our big and tall sofas and loveseats.
How to Choose Power Headrest Sofas
1. Pick the extras
All 11 have the power headrest, so the choice is what you want with it. The table groups the sofas by series using each model's product data.
| Series | What it adds | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Headrest only | Power headrest and power recline, one USB port per seat, 83" to 85" sofa | Seatcraft Omega, Anthem, Republic |
| Headrest and lumbar | Adjustable power lumbar, Italian Leather, 85" sofa | Seatcraft Vienna |
| Heat and massage | Lumbar plus heat and massage with remote control, 85" sofa | Seatcraft Euphoria, Seatcraft Concerto |
| Big & Tall | Lumbar, 91.5" to 93" sofas, 400 lbs. per seat on the Colosseum and Octavius | Seatcraft Colosseum, Seatcraft Octavius |
| 365 series | Lumbar, heat and massage, zero-gravity recline, 80" sofa | Luminis 365, Virtuoso 365 |
2. Pick a layout
A loveseat seats two, a sofa seats three, and a sofa and loveseat set seats five. Compare the product page width with your wall, and leave walkway space past the full recline figure on the Dimensions tab.
3. Pick an upholstery and color
Check the Upholstery Material line on each product page, then choose from its color list. Sample swatches are available for many upholstery options.
