5-Year Accident Protection Plan

Protect your investment with the 5-Year Accident Protection Plan. Accidents are likely to happen once the furniture is in your home. The plan protects your seats from many of life's mishaps, both big and small, and picks up where Seatcraft's 1-Year Limited Warranty leaves off.

What does the 5-Year Accident Protection Plan cover?

Premium coverage is available for fabric, leather, wood furniture, and may include*:

  • Food or beverage stains on fabric, leather, and wood.
  • Stains caused by grass, crayons, grease, ballpoint pen ink, and cosmetics on upholstered furniture.
  • Rips, tears, burns or punctures on fabric or leather upholstery.
  • Liquid rings, heat marks, and gouges on wood and stone.
  • Glass and mirror breakage.

Get coverage for many common accidental stains and damages PLUS many additional coverages after the manufacturer's warranty has expired (see chart below):

What about food and beverage spills?

Is that plate of spaghetti causing your furniture heartaches? Did a romantic evening with a loved one turn into a wine spill nightmare? Never fear! This protection plan covers accidental food and beverage stains. If it happens, call 4Seating at 1-800-407-8665 during business hours and we will help you with your claim. Call as soon as it happens, and before you try to clean it: cleaning or repairs you arrange on your own can void the coverage.

How long does the coverage last?

The plan runs 5 years in total from delivery. Accidental stain and damage coverage starts on delivery. The frame, spring, mechanism, motor and electrical coverage starts once Seatcraft's 1-Year Limited Warranty ends, so it covers years 2 to 5.

How much is it, and how do I add it?

The plan is $69 per seat.

A cuddle seat is $119, or $158 with the ottoman.

Add it on the product page, with your seats. It is sized to the number of seats in the configuration you choose.

How do I make a claim?

Call 4Seating at 1-800-407-8665 during business hours. In the first year, Seatcraft's 1-Year Limited Warranty covers the part and the labor. From year 2, under this plan, we supply the replacement part and you pay for the labor to install it. The first-year terms are on our Seatcraft Warranty page.

What isn't covered?

The plan covers seats in a home, so commercial use is not covered. It also does not cover delivery damage (call us about that), normal wear and tear, stains that build up over time, scuffs or marks that do not go through the upholstery, claw or chew damage from pets, leather cracking, peeling or fading, or damage from cleaning or repairs you arrange on your own.
