This is by far one of the best purchases we have made for our new home.

When you figure out how much time you spend in your family room, comfortable seating is a quality of life game changer. This sofa is that for us. It not only looks amazing but is beyond comfortable. And the bells and whistles additional features add to that in a big way.

We've been customers for over 10 years and have never been disappointed.

The team is knowledgeable, the seats are luxurious, and the service is second to none. Our home theater is exactly what we dreamed of and the quality has held up beautifully over the years.

From browsing online to delivery, the entire experience was first class.

My family couldn't be happier with our new theater chairs. The delivery team was professional, setup was seamless, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone upgrading their home theater.

Home theater decor covers everything in a movie room that isn't a seat: the screen wall, the walls and ceiling, the floor and the platforms behind the back row. This collection brings together 53 pieces from SoundRight and Joy, from acoustic wall panels and curtains to star panels, columns, stages, risers and theater carpet. Use it to finish a room around your home theater seating, or to add movie theater decor to a room you already have.

About Home Theater Decor by 4Seating

4Seating has been helping people furnish home theaters since 1997, and the decor here is chosen to sit alongside our seating. The collection is easiest to browse by where a piece goes. For the screen wall, there are curtains, stages and columns. For walls and ceilings, there are acoustic wall panels, wall accents and star panels. For the floor and seating platform, there are home theater carpets and risers.

That mix covers most of what people search for as movie room decor, theater room decor and home theater accessories: pieces that make the room look like a theater and a few that change how it works.

Features of Modern Home Theater Accessories

Several pieces here do more than decorate. The SoundRight Broadway Audio Home Theater Stage and the SoundRight Apollo Theater Audio Valence each have speakers built into the frame, and the SoundRight Audio Theater Column has speakers embedded in the column, so the speakers become part of the decor instead of separate boxes.

Open/close curtains are designed to open before a feature and close after it. The SoundRight Electric Curtain Rod System adds a motor and remote so you don't have to pull them by hand. The SoundRight Fiber-Optic Star Panel and Framed Star Panel pair preinstalled fiber-optic stars with a light box that has a white or color-changing wheel.

If your room has more than one row, a riser is a platform that raises the back row so the seats behind can see over the seats in front. SoundRight risers come in 7'' and 14'' heights, and the top level has a lip that you can use for lighting.

Quality & Materials Used for Home Theater Decor

Materials depend on the piece, so check each product page. The stages are covered in passion suede, a smooth, supple fabric, as are several of the columns and some of the wall accents. The curtains are velvet with tassel patterns in black or gold. The Tuck & Roll Panel is covered in black bonded leather, as its product page lists it, with tufted insets. The risers have hardwood construction with carpeting on the sides and top, and the Joy carpets are broadloom made from 100% STAINMASTER® nylon.

The product pages describe several of the acoustic pieces, including the SoundRight Acoustic Wallpanel, the Framed Wallpanel and the Tuck & Roll Panel, as designed to reduce ambient echo in the room. How much difference a panel makes depends on your room, its surfaces and where you place it.

How to Choose Home Theater Decor

1. Start with the screen wall

Stages, columns and curtains come in 8', 9' and 10' heights, so measure your ceiling and screen wall before you order. The stages frame the screen, the curtains soften or cover it, and the columns sit on either side. The Electric Curtain Rod System is sold in lengths from 3 to 36 feet, so you can order the track to your wall width.

2. Treat the walls, ceiling and floor

Acoustic panels, wall accents and star panels cover the surfaces around the room. Carpet covers the floor, and it is sold in 13'6" wide rolls. Choose the surfaces you want to change first, then add pieces as your budget allows.

3. Plan the seating platform

If a back row needs to sit higher, choose a 7'' or 14'' riser. Risers are 70" front to back and come prebuilt in 50", 60" and 68" widths, and you can combine them to reach the width you need. For riser, aisle and exit questions, check your local building code with your building department.

Frequently Asked Questions

This collection includes acoustic wall panels, curtains, wall accents, star panels, columns, stages, risers and carpet. Most pieces are SoundRight, and the carpets are Joy.

They come in 8', 9' and 10' sizes, so you can match them to your ceiling height. Measure your screen wall and ceiling before you order, and call the design team if you are between sizes.

The product pages describe the panels as designed to reduce ambient echo inside the room. Keeping sound from reaching other rooms is a different job that usually involves the wall construction, so panels alone are not a substitute for it.

A riser is only needed if you have more than one row and the back row needs to sit higher. SoundRight risers come in 7'' and 14'' heights. For questions about riser height, aisles and exits, check your local building code with your building department.

Carpet rolls are 13'6" wide and range from 15 to 55 feet long. If your room is longer or wider than 13'6", the product pages say to order the length you need plus one pattern repeat, and to include riser heights when you measure.

Call the design team at 1-800-407-8665 and ask what color information is available for the piece you like. Color options vary by product, so each product page lists what that piece offers.
