Spacesaver home theater seating is made for rooms where width is the limit. The seats have narrower armrests, so a row takes less wall than the same number of regular-width seats, and each model here is also a wallhugger, meaning it reclines while sitting close to the wall. That makes these small home theater seats a fit for basements, bonus rooms and narrow media rooms.
Seatcraft Space Saving Recliners for Small Entertainment Spaces
A dedicated entertainment space doesn't need a sprawling basement or a spare room. If you're working with limited square footage, small theater chairs let you keep real recliners instead of settling for a single sofa or office chairs. You can buy a single recliner or a row: the Sienna comes as a row of 2 at 62.5" wide and a row of 3 at 90", the narrowest row of 3 on our product pages.

Efficient Seating for Limited Layouts
Finding the right home theater seating for a small room is mostly a matter of measuring. A wallhugger recliner, which some shoppers search for as wall hugger theater seating, has a mechanism designed to let the seat recline fully with only a few inches between it and the wall. Wallhugger clearance runs about 3" to 6.5" across Seatcraft models; here the 12006 lists 3", the Sienna 3.5" and the Napa 5".
That saves room depth, which keeps small theater room seating usable without giving up the reclined position. Check the Full Recline figure on each Dimensions tab (Sienna 67", Napa 68", 12006 69") for the distance from the wall when the seat is fully reclined, and keep tables and walkways beyond it.
Narrow Theater Seating: What Spacesaver Armrests Change
The Spacesaver design is about the arms. The Sienna's product page describes a regular-size chair with armrests that are less wide than usual. The Napa's page says its Spacesaver arm reduces the total width of a row by over 10% by dropping in-arm storage, so that's the trade-off to know about on the Napa. Check each product page for storage before you buy.

Features in a Smaller Footprint
Power versions of the Sienna, Napa and 12006 list USB charging, LED lighted cupholders and ambient base lighting. The Napa adds an adjustable power headrest. None of the models in this collection has power lumbar. The manual versions of the Sienna and 12006 keep the LED cupholders but don't plug in and have no powered features.

Basement Theater Seating
Basements often have a fixed layout around stairs, support posts or a low ceiling, so measure the wall you'll sit against, the depth from it to the screen wall and the doorways and stairs the seats have to pass through. A row of 2 or 3 along one wall is a common starting point, and a wallhugger recliner keeps the seats close to that wall. Truck deliveries are curbside, and white-glove delivery is available as an add-on.

Leather Gel is a leather-look upholstery designed to look and feel like leather. It isn't leather. Sample swatches are available for many upholstery options.
2. Pick power or manual
Power models plug into a standard 110v wall outlet, and each seat may need its own. Manual models don't plug in. 4Seating doesn't offer retrofitting power onto manual seats, so choose when you order. If you need an outlet added near your seats, ask a licensed electrician.
3. Pick a layout and measure
The canonical row widths on our product pages are about 62" to 86" for 2 seats, 90" to 126" for 3, 117" to 164" for 4 and 145" to 178" for 5. Spacesaver rows sit at the low end: a Sienna row of 3 is 90", a 12006 row of 3 is 92" and a Napa row of 3 is 94". Measure your wall, then compare.
